I called customer service waiting for answer did not want to exchange used express credit card have been buying for over 20 yrs from this store my son has not been well he is 31 yrs old and has need going thru a lot finally started going in stores to shop liked jeans from express but has a very hard time making up kind mgr and lady took out time to help him but unfortunately I cannot find tags but it shows on express credit card all we wanted was for them to do a even exchange but they refused and manager had the nerve to tell me he spent 30

Minutes with him which is their job anyway and he does not know his situation and I did not need to tell him either so we had to buy 2 more pants over $100 dollars again kept tickets on returning today will never go back to that location in the mall and if I want to continue to buy from express will buy on line or go in outlet which I did not even know they had very disappointed in this company after purchasing so many times thru the yrs and spending quite a lot of money

Tags cannot be removed from clothing. You own them if you did that.

I bought a 18ct diamond ring and it was a little small so I took it to the watch man he resize rings as well,when I put it in it was 3.95 in gold weight but when I got it back it felt thin so I asked for scales he said he didn't have working 1so when I got home I put on the scales and it was underweight it was 3.55 so I went back and asked for my gold back he said no take me to court

Unreliable and unprofessional business

I have decided to close my express.com account due to many mistakes and unanswered calls. The credit card company connected with express is the comenity bank.

This business is not a liable company in terms of refunds and account changes.

I called the company to dispute a $27 late fee and eventually they credited $15 part of the fee. After numerous phone calls one of the managers credited the rest of the late fee $12 which went directly into my bank account. After closing my account I received a $12 charge when I received with my statement. I guess I was charged after I closed my account.I did not think they are able to close an account with a balance or charge a card after closing it?

For over the last two weeks Ive been trying to get in touch with a customer service representative without any luck. The bill is due in a few days and I cannot make a phone call or make a payment or get online because my account has been closed. Also nobody picks up the phone. This is the worst business I had to deal with in my life so far.

If you do not want headaches please dont sign up with express.com

No questions for why such a low number of happy customers who reviewed this company. After my experience with express.com and comenity bank I suggest to customers to shop at the different companies not Express.

They will have better customer service, better deals, and better merchandise selection.

Comenity bank takes advantage of customers money and eats their free time. It is a waste of time trying to contact this unreliable and unprofessional bank.

I came to the store to shop and return a item. While shopping I asked associates about sale/clearance racks.

I was told that the CEO/CO had just remodel stores and he didn't want clearance in the store because it didn't look good in the store. I said wow, that sounds like greed, that he's only worried about making his money back for the remodeling, and giving customers option of clearance/sale items on a frequent basis is not important. I wonder how customers or credit card holders would feel about that.

I'm not sure if I want to be a continued credit card holder or shop at the Northpark mall. Thank you, Tina Dorm

My wife purchased jeans for me at the Crabtree store in Raleigh NC. After a few months the seam in the waist came apart and the jeans developed an odd threads shrinkage that made the jeans unwearable. Express just gave us the runaround...

I am 44 years old I've worked in a lot of places and express I used to love their clothes I loved the Express at the mall when I was a teenager so I thought why not get a job there you know they promised me a certain amount of pay after the first of the year all the overtime I can get till January. Now keep in mind this whole time my manager is probably 30 years old and I'm 44 there were assistant manager lead sales kid and two associates for a big outlet store.

. I just want the public to know that Express is a horrible place to work I still love their clothes and will probably no I won't be shopping there but I just don't want this to happen to anybody else so maybe this will help the future of Express and there won't be such a toxic environment and they'll be more considerate of people's disabilities and pay them accordingly and tell the truth I told the truth and look I got fired over the phone.

Why is it impossible to place an order through website and customer service contact telephone number???

Too many details to list… jist… website won’t accept any form of payment from me! Never placed online order before with Express. Website just keeps spinning. Called customer service.. order still won’t go through. Called at least 5 times! Help chatted with approx 4 different reps. Contacted bank and card issuing company (Visa). Confirmed problem is on Express side. Called with different card to place order, customer service never sent confirmation email… order placed or not????

I buy some of my clothes from Express store, recently I started buying Express online. I have many problems for online ordering. Two important ones are follows: 1.One or two items in an order (for the last two orders) are always wrong. They replaced your orders with different clothes with the same color. For example, when I order polo with a certain cut (such $50) and they replaced with polo with lower price such as $25 with different cut. Since they keep repeating the same mistake for the last a few orders, I believe that they are doing intentionally to make money. We have to pay $6.99 for each return. 2.The quality of clothes in Express Online Stores is much lower than that of found in their retail stores. You can buy the similar quality of jeans or polo from Walmart or Sam's Club with a fraction of the cost.

We went to Express Outlet to exchange the pants, employee behind the counter was very rude. We walked out without looking any further. If you can, get employees name. We didn't get it, we just walked out, shocked about her rudeness. The employees have always been nice there, I don't know what happened that that day.

Express is not following their stores policy

I purchased a jacket at Express 5 days prior to returning it. When I went back to the store, the manager said she could not refund me my money. She offered me a gift card which I refused. The jacket was unworn and had the original tags on it. I had my original receipt showing that the purchase was recent. The manager was very apologetic and confused to why Express was not refunding my money back. She herself said this was not right. She called and was on the phone for 1/2 hour w. customer service. After she got off the phone w. customer service, she said she still could not refund me my money. I am deeply disappointed with this retailer. They are not honoring their own store policy. They are taking money from the consumer and not giving it back. To me this is fraudulent behavior. I have shopped at Express for over 25 yrs. I will never shop at this store again and I am in the process of reporting this to state and local agencies. This is not right.
